For Monday July 28, 2014 our "Sensational 7 Roll Call" continues: El Paso Baseball Hall of Fame Board of Directors and Class of 2009 Honoree Juan Orozco who coached the Coronado High School Thunderbirds to the 1992 District, Bi-District, Area, Quarter Finals and Regional Championship earning a spot in the Texas High School Baseball Final 4 State Semi-Finals; Class of 2000 Honoree Karen Paul the innovator of the “Diablo Diamond Girls” who in 1983 was named "Woman of the Year" by the National Association of Baseball Executives; Class of 1999 Honoree Ken Schrom who had a seven-year career as a pitcher with the Toronto Blue Jays, Minnesota Twins and Cleveland Indians and he earned a spot on the 1986 American League All-Star team; Class of 1992 Honoree Kenneth “K. C.” Brown who coached Austin High School to the 1965 District, Bi-District, Area, Quarter Final and Regional Championship earning a spot in the Texas High School Baseball Final 4 State Semi-Finals and he was named High School "Coach of the Year" 6X; Class of 2004 Honoree Kenneth Moorhead who led his Eastern Oklahoma Junior College team to the NJCAA World Series before coaching El Paso High School to multiple District Championships and Class of 1990 Honoree Larry “Moose” Stubing who signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates right out of high school and played with the Pirates, New York Giants, St. Louis Cardinals and California Angels organizations . . .
