For Wednesday July 30, 2014 our "Sensational 7 Roll Call" continues: Class of 1993 Honoree Louis S. “Lou” Camilli the 4X All District player for Austin High School, All American at Texas A & M University before signing and playing with the Cleveland Indians; Class of 1993 Honoree Lynn Hunt the multiple All District player for Bel Air High School, hit .333 as a freshman for Texas Western, compiled a 22-10 pitching record in college while also playing the outfield, multiple All Star and MVP in Semi-Pro league play who struck out 20 batters in one game; El Paso Baseball Hall of Fame Board of Directors and Class of 1999 Honoree Manny Lopez the All District pitcher for El Paso Tech High School, star pitcher in the Mexican professional league and "Umpire Extraordinaire" who was selected to officiate the Texas High School State Baseball Championships 3X; Class of 2009 Honoree Manny Pacillas Jr. the "Trainer Extraordinaire" from 1963-1992 who has been inducted into 4 different Halls of Fame; Class of 1995 Honoree Manny Ponsford the multi-sport All Conference star for the University of Texas who is recognized as one of the school's greatest athletes with his induction into the Texas Longhorn Hall of Honor; Class of 1990 Honoree Manuel “Manny” Ayala who played for the Bowie High School American Legion State Championship team and he was known as the “Babe Ruth of El Paso Sandlot Baseball” and El Paso Baseball Hall of Fame Brother/Brother duo member and Class of 1990 Honoree Marc Stephen Bombard the All District pitcher at Eastwood High School who later signed and began an 18 year association with the Cincinnati Reds . . .
