On Sunday March 9, our El Paso Baseball Hall of Fame "Terrific Three" Roll Call continues: El Paso Baseball Hall of Fame Inaugural Class of 1988 Honoree Bob Ingram who served as Sports Editor for the El Paso Herald Post from 1926 to 1981 and he has been inducted into 3 different Halls of Fame; El Paso Baseball Hall of Fame Board of Directors and Class of 2008 Honoree Bobby Morales the star player for Bel Air High School and as the Head Baseball Coach at his alma mater led the Highlanders to the District, Bi-District, Regional and Area Championship in 1983 and the finals of the “Elite 8” Texas High School State Playoffs and Class of 2004 Honoree Bruce Wayne Ruffin who earned multiple All District honors at Hanks High School, earned All Conference honors when he helped pitch the University of Texas Longhorns to the 1983 National Championship, played in the Major Leagues for 12 years and he shares the Major League record for most strikeouts in one inning with 4 . . .
