If you have a candidate for consideration for the El Paso Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2015 hit our "Forms" Header at the top of our Home Page . . . For Saturday May 30, 2015 we continue our "Fantastic 5 Roll Call" featuring 5 El Paso Baseball Hall of Fame Honorees: Class of 1993 Honoree Enrique “Kiki” Gomez who had a lifetime batting average over .310 and a pitching record of 245-140 in Semi-Pro play and he declined offers to play professionally; El Paso Baseball Hall of Fame Father/Son duo Member and Class of 1993 Honoree Enrique “Kiki” Melendez a Semi-Pro legend who was a 7X MVP, 19X All Star, 12X “Top Pitcher” and he declined a professional offer from the Texas Rangers; El Paso Baseball Hall of Fame’s only Father/Son/Son trio Member and Class of 1999 Honoree Epitacio “Tacho” Carrasco who turned down several professional baseball offers, founded the Socorro Cougars and a great player-coach who during the 22-game seasons averaged hitting 24-25 home runs; El Paso Baseball Hall of Fame Brother/Brother duo Member and Class of 2003 Honoree Ernest “Ernie” Barrueta the El Paso High School 2X All District selection, averaged 13 strikeouts a game for high school career with a 1.32 ERA, selected to the El Paso High School “All Decade” team and El Paso Baseball Hall of Fame Inaugural Board of Directors, Father/Son duo Member and Class of 2002 Honoree Ernest W. “Joe” Divis who signed with the Boston Red Sox, pitched in the Military and Semi-Pro leagues earning multiple All Star and “Outstanding Pitcher” designations . . . "Thank You" to Lisa Osborne Brock and Patricia Jacobes for their pictures of our annual Hall of Fame Banquets from (2010-2013) and "Thank You" to Matthew Leon for his pictures of our 2014 Golf Tournament and Banquet all found by hitting the "Induction Banquet" Home Plate on our Home Page . . .
