Earned degree in Biology from UTEP
Earned a Doctor of Dentistry degree in 1983 at the University of Southern California
Joined United States Public Health Service as a Dental Officer and retired with the rank of Captain
Honored by UTEP in 2010 as a distinguished UTEP Alumnus
