First El Paso Baseball Hall of Fame Honoree to be Inducted in the Year that a Coach led a team to a Texas High School State Baseball Championship                                                                                    Named 2022 National High School Coach of the Year by the American Baseball Coaches Association Head Coach of Southlake Carroll and led Dragons to 2018, 2019 and 2022 Texas High School Class 6A State Championships becoming the first baseball team in UIL history to win a State Title at the largest classification 3 times in a 4-year span                                                                                                    In 2022, Southlake Carroll made their 4th Class 6A Texas High School State Tournament appearance in 5 completed seasons of play – 2020 Baseball Playoffs were not held due to Covid pandemic                In 2022 the Dragons shut out Keller whom they shared the District championship with in 2 consecutive games to advance to the 2022 Final 4 in Class 6A – #4 Seed Southlake Carroll defeated #1 Seed Ft. Bend Ridge Point 6-1 Friday June 10. The Dragons won the State Championship defeating San Antonio Reagan 8-5.                                                                                                                            Coached Southlake Carroll to 2019 Texas High School 6A State Baseball Championship leading the Dragons to the school’s first Baseball back to back State Championships (2018 & 2019) and third consecutive trip to the Texas High School Final 4 in his first 3 years as Head Coach
Named Dallas/Ft. Worth High School Coach of the Year 2017 and 2019
Coached Southlake Carroll to 2018 Texas High School 6A State Baseball Championship winning their final 14 games including going undefeated in all 11 Post Season Playoff games in his second year as Head Coach at Southlake Carroll High School and finishing with a 35-6 record and becoming the first Dragon Baseball team to reach the State Tournament Final 4 in consecutive years in school history
