Earned baseball scholarship to NAIA college power Dallas Baptist College where he earned a spot as a Closer and spot starter
In 1981, he combined as the closer to a no-hitter in a 1-0 shutout of Rice
Played in Juarez after college an was a member of 6 league championship teams and 8 All Star selections
Played in Lower Valley Semi-Pro league as a Player/Coach winning 3 League Championships under his leadership for 3 years with MVP selection and 2X Manager of the Year honors
Finished his career in the Lower Valley Old Timers League in 2013
