For Tuesday the 10th day of December we continue our "Elite 11 Roll Call": El Paso Baseball Hall of Fame Board of Director and Class of 2011 Honoree Randy Weinglass who began umpiring in 1980, chosen by El Paso area coaches to umpire Texas High School playoffs for over 25 consecutive years and he was selected as a crew chief for the 2010 Texas High School State Tournament; Class of 1990 Honoree Raul “Ruly” Medrano the Ysleta High School star player who became the winningest pitcher and the first player to be named All District all four years in 1-AAAA, set school pitching and hitting records
and signed to play for the Kansas City Athletics and Class of 1997 Honoree Raul Marquez the Ysleta High School All State pitcher, college First Team All American and he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Cincinnati Reds and the St. Louis Cardinals . . .
